2. Host ID 알아내기

DOCRUZER 제품은 제품을 설치할 서버 기계의 MAC Address등의 서버 고유 번호(Host ID)로 라이센스를 제공합니다. Solaris를 제외한 다른 OS의 경우에는 MAC Address를 Host ID로 사용하고, Solaris의 경우에는 node name을 서버의 Host ID로 사용합니다. HP HPUX (HPPA), Intel Linux, IBM RS6000 AIX는 node name도 사용 가능합니다. 이 Host ID는 서버 기계의 네트워크 카드나 CPU에 대한 고유 번호로서, 다음과 같은 형식으로 되어 있습니다. 00-12-24-56-78-9A (예외 1). Solaris의 경우에는 node name(hostid)을 사용하므로 다음과 같은 형식으로 되어 있습니다. 10-10-56-78 (예외 2). HP HPUX (HPPA)나 Intel Linux, IBM RS6000 AIX는 node name(hostid)도 사용 가능합니다. 10-10-56-78 아래는 OS별로 Host ID를 알아내기 위한 명령어에 대해 설명이 되어 있습니다.

HP HPUX(HPPA)는 MAC Address외에 node name(hostid)를 Host ID로 사용 가능하다. "uname -i"의 결과를 hexa로 변환하여 사용한다.
